There’s nothing quite like that first successful turn—or the grin that comes with it. Whether you’re brand new to snow or looking to level up your skills, our SnowSports School is here to help you feel confident, have fun, and make the most of your day on the mountain.
All lessons meet at the Snowsports School building at the base of the Magic Carpet, located at the Westside.
Learn to Ski & Ride – $100
Never been on skis or a snowboard? We’ve got you. This 90-minute intro package is built for true beginners and includes everything you need to get started:
- Lesson
- Lift Ticket
- Rentals
When: Daily at 10am & 1:30pm
Ages: 6 and up
Meeting Location: Outside the Westside Lodge
First-timers only. If you’ve been on snow before, check out our group lessons.
Group Lessons – $55
Dial in your turns, build confidence, and push your skills at your own pace. Group lessons are available for skiers and riders at the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level.
When: Daily at 10am & 1:30pm
Ages: 6 and up
Meeting Location: Snowsports School, Westside base
Lift ticket not included.
Private Lessons
Sometimes one-on-one attention makes all the difference. Private lessons are fully customized to your goals and pace. Add additional participants if you’d like to learn together.
Available Daily: 9am–3pm (time set during booking)
Ages: 6 and up
Meeting Location: Snowsports School, Westside base
Lift ticket not included.
- 1 hour – $80 ($50 per additional person)
- 5 hours – $110 ($70 per additional person)
- 2 hours – $140 ($90 per additional person)
Tiny Tot Private Lessons – $80/hour
A gentle introduction to skiing or snowboarding for our youngest guests, taught with patience and play.
Ages: 3–5
Available Daily: 9am–3pm
Meeting Location: Snowsports School, Westside base
Family Lessons – $140 for two people
Learn together and make some core memories while you’re at it. This 90-minute lesson is designed for families who want to improve as a group.
Includes up to 5 family members
Price: $140 for first two, $65 each additional
Requirements:
- One participant must be a parent or grandparent
- Everyone must be on the same equipment (ski OR snowboard)
- Ages 7 and up
Available Daily: 9am–3pm
