Winter Seasonal Programs

2020/2021 Winter Seasonal Programs on sale now!

Youth Seasonal Program $480

We’ve taken the best of our season-long kids programs and unified them into one structure this year.  This includes the KAMP program.  We’re welcoming kids from 4 to 16 to ski and ride with us to build skiing and snowboarding skills and  explore the mountain in a safe and fun environment.  In addition to lessons every week, each student who signs up will get a voucher for 2 lift tickets, which they can use themselves, or to introduce a friend to Mt. Abram, (vouchers can be used any time in the 20/21 season), and parents are invited to a free clinic on Ski-Tuning basics (dates to be announced).

All programs will be half-day: two hours in the morning or afternoon, and run for 8 weeks.  We will still be supporting all the different levels of abilities, from never-evers to all-mountain skiers.  Kids will be grouped with other skiers or riders of similar age and ability, and groups will be 5 or fewer for ages 6-16, and 3 or less for ages 4-6.

Programming will run from Jan 8 – Mar 7 (no meeting on the weekend of 2/19-21), and you can choose which time slot best fits your family: Friday PM, Saturday AM or PM, or Sunday AM or PM. The morning session begins at 9:30 and the afternoon at 1:00.

Mt. Abram Snowsports School has developed a comprehensive COVID-19 strategy for the 2021 season.  This includes daily symptom checks for staff, small group ratios, socially distant and sanitized warm-up areas, in addition to a resort-wide face covering policy.  For everyone’s health and safety, if your child is not feeling well, please keep them home.

Season passes are sold separately, and seasonal equipment rentals are available.  Since lodge space is limited this year, we are asking that all kids arrive booted and ready to go, including a face covering, dry socks, hand or toe warmers if needed and plenty of their own tissues!  Space is limited, so sign up now!

Adult Seasonal Program $360

Why should the kids have all the fun??  This 8-week program is open to adults of all skiing abilities who are interested in improving their skills and exploring new terrain.  This is a great way to help you keep up with the kiddos!  This is a 90-minute group session offered simultaneously with the Youth Seasonal Program for scheduling convenience.

Competition Program $775

The Mount Abram Race Team is made up of athletes ranging from 8-18.  In order to participate, you should be a comfortable all-mountain skier who has a drive to learn new skills, compete and have fun.

The Competition Program trains Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season as well as certain days during vacation periods.  This year, training sessions will be half days, divided by age.  The training schedule has not yet been finalized, but will start mid-late December and run through the first weekend in March.

Each session will combine some directed drills with gate training to facilitate growth and speed.  The training plan follows a skill progression from the early season training through competitions.
