FAQ
What should I wear?
Athletic clothes similar to what you might go on a hike in, closed toe and heel shoes with a stiff sole, crew socks to protect your shins and sunglasses. Bike gloves are helpful and are sold in the rental shop
Can I use the bike after my lesson?
Yes you can! The package comes with a half day rental that goes from 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm. There is also the option to upgrade to a full day rental.
Can I bring my own bike?
We require all bikes to have front and rear brakes and Disc brakes are strongly recommended. You will have the most fun on a bike with at least front suspension (hardtail). Our fleet of rental bikes are a great place to start if you’re unsure if your bike is adequate.
Can my child and I do a lesson together?
From our experience children and adults learn better in different environments, so to make sure that everyone gets the most out of their lessons we like to keep them separate. If riding together is a make or break for you, we recommend looking into a Family Private.
Can I ride after my lesson?
The intro to downhill package includes a lift ticket & bike rental, so yes you will be able to ride afterwards!
I need to cancel or reschedule my lesson
Daily lessons must be canceled at least 24 hours before lesson start time to be eligible for a refund. If cancelled before the 24 hour cut off, we will do our best to reschedule your lesson for another day, however if that is not available we may issue a refund. Please E-Mail bikeschool@mtabram.com if you need to reschedule or cancel your lesson.
