Getting to Mt. Abram Ski Area

Mt. Abram Ski Area is located in Greenwood, Maine, just outside the town of Bethel in the western mountains of Maine. The mountain is easily accessible by car from many parts of New England, making it a convenient destination for day trips and weekend ski visits.

Address:
308 Howe Hill Road
Greenwood, ME 04255

We recommend using GPS navigation to reach the mountain. Searching “Mt. Abram Ski Area” in Google Maps or Apple Maps will bring you directly to the main parking area.

Parking at Mt. Abram

Mt. Abram has two base areas with separate parking lots: Mainside and Westside.

The Mainside parking lot offers easy access to the Way Back Machine lift, Guest Services, rentals and retail, and the Loose Boots Lounge. This is the largest parking area at the mountain and a great starting point if you’re not sure which base area is best for your group.

The Westside parking lot serves our beginner terrain, Snowsports School, Westside Rental Shop, and the Westside Lodge. Parking at the Westside is limited, so we recommend arriving early if you plan to start your day there.

If Westside parking is full, you can drop off less experienced skiers and riders at the Westside base area, then have one driver park at Mainside. Guests can ski from the Westside to the Mainside on green terrain, but there is no green-level route from Mainside back to the Westside. If your group needs to return to Westside, plan to do so by shuttle (when available) or by vehicle.
