Youth Summer Bike Park Programs
Ages 6-14


New this year – Half Day Camp option!!

This one day a week, 8-week program will provide young riders with a progression of skills to take their riding to the next level. Kids will spend the day in a group of riders of similar skill level. Each group will spend time developing riding skills, learning basic bike mechanics as well as safety awareness and trail etiquette.

Full Day camp runs from 9-4 (drop off between 8:30-9, pick up between 4:00-4:30). Available Thursday and Fridays.

Half Day camp runs from 9-12:30 or 1:15-4:45. Available Wednesday (PM only), Saturday and Sunday.





New for 2021! This 4-day Day Camp is designed to give kids aged 10-15 a chance to build their own stretch of trail at the Bike Park. Our experienced Coaches and Trail Builders partner for this camp to introduce campers to the tools and techniques of safe, fun trail design. Participants will learn the basics of trail building, including:

  • Trail layout, terrain choice and water management
  • Machine vs Hand construction techniques
  • Tool of construction, including safety and use
  • Building features including berms, rollers, jumps and rock gardens
  • And the best part, testing what we build!

Each daily session runs from 9:00-4:00.

This camp is offered 3 times for the summer of 2021:
June 21-24
July 12-15
August 23-26





Youth Downhill Primer Package

If your child can ride a bike, we can get them mountain biking at the Mt. Abram Bike Park.  This two-hour group session with one of our experienced Kids Coaches will cover the basics of bike operation, braking and body position.  The lesson starts on learning terrain and includes guided runs on beginner friendly terrain.  This is a great way to take the fear out of the equation – for you OR your child!

Bikes available in 20″, 24″ and 26″ wheel sizes.

Price $69

The package includes the Lift Ticket, Standard Youth Bike Rental and Lesson.  That’s over $100 value!

Ages 5-12 (riders need to be under 4’11” – if over, please use the Adult Downhill Primer Package to assure the proper bike fit).





Youth Half Day Lessons


The Youth Half-Day lesson is a 3.5 hour group session that provides kids with the opportunity to develop core skills.  The lesson will utilize appropriate terrain for the skill level and session goals.  Groups will be divided based on skill level and/or age.

Lessons are scheduled daily:

Wednesdays: 1:15-4:45

Thursdays – Sunday: 9:00-12:30 OR 1:15-4:45


Minimum age is 6.


Lift tickets and rentals are NOT included.  Please book these separately.





Private and Semi Private Instruction 


Want to customize your Bike School experience?  We are able to provide lessons to meet your individual needs.  We can work at any level, from a nervous beginner to an expert rider looking to master features.

Minimum age 5.  All riders must already know how to ride a bike.


Private sessions start at $90 for one person.  90 minute minimum.

Rate: $60/hour for one person, $40/person per hour up to 5 people.

Lift tickets and rentals are NOT included.  Please book these separately.




Family Lesson 


Keep it all in the family in this 90 minute private lesson.  This is a great chance to experience something together that can last a lifetime. Our coaches will work with each member of the family to learn or fine-tune technique.  Up to 5 members of the same immediate family can participate – at least one person must be a parent or grandparent.  The session can be catered to the needs of the family, from a beginner experience to exploring the trails all over the mountain.

Ages 5 and up

$145 for 2-3 family members; $200 for 4-5 family members.
