Open to Skiers & Snowboarders
To instill a lifelong love of skiing and riding. To maintain a supportive and focused environment that encourages every KAMPer to increase their skills as a skier/rider in all disciplines and environments.
To provide opportunities to interact with and learn from members of the mountain staff and community. To develop a community of lifelong skiers and riders passionate about the sport who exemplify all of the best attributes of respectful and successful community members, athletes, and friends.
A Day At KAMP:
- Specific Warm Up focused on injury prevention and strength
- Exploration of all the mountain has to offer (groomed terrain, the park, race courses, bumps, glades, and more)
- Skills work in varied terrain
- Focused Free Skiing
- Skills, Quest, Games
- Lots of learning
- Smiles and Laughter
When does this program start? End?
Depending on weather & mountain conditions, the first weekend of KAMP is tentatively Dec. 10-11. If weather does not cooperate, KAMP will start on Dec. 17-18. The final weekend of KAMP (weather permitting) will be March 18-19, 2017.
What day(s) & time(s) will KAMP take place?
Kids will participate in a full weekend OR the Saturday-only program.
Saturday KAMP runs from 9am-2:30pm
Sunday KAMP runs from 9am-1pm
Where do we meet for KAMP?
Please go to the Ski School kiosk in the Main Lodge upon arrival for the first day of KAMP.
