Owner Matt Hancock Checking In: Lightening Strikes and Autumn Adventure

Hello Mt Abram Skiers and Riders,

Thanks everyone for your continued enthusiasm as we tick down to Opening Day. The myriad of complexities associated with the lightning strike, ensuring a recovery consistent to our unpretentious, non-factory, skier and rider centric ways are under control and progressing on schedule. We will all be hoisting Abram Ales, in cozy confines, after a great day on the snow on December 10th. Trail, lift and regular building and grounds maintenance are well ahead of schedule and we are most excited to turn on one of the North America’s newest and most energy efficient snow making systems this year with last year’s learning curve under our belt.

Abram’s Autumn of Adventure kicked off last weekend at the Maine State Triathlon, continues next Tuesday at the Gritty’s Golf Outing, includes the New Screen on the Slopes Saturdays through September, follows with the Loose Boots Open October 1st, and summits with the 4th Annual Abram Fall Fest on October 8th. Additionally there will be an ‘Employee Informal’ Saturday, September 10th to update all staffers and all departments of many exciting nuances in advance of Opening Day.

Be well,
Matt Hancock
