We agree – Bar none!
TODAY is the childhood our kids will remember. Mt. Abram Childcare Center supports your family’s memory-making at the mountain by providing indoor and outdoor adventures throughout the day for your children ages 6 weeks through 12 years.
Our childcare center is inspired by a Safe! Smart! Strong! philosophy that focuses on stimulating the whole child – his senses, intellect, heart and body, in a nurturing, home-like environment, which also welcomes family. Our site, our program and our staff are licensed by the State of Maine for health and safety and….best of all, right outside our door, we’ve got a Mountain Playground like no other!
We believe in:
Words to live by: rhythm, connectedness, creativity, goodness, togetherness, cooperation, confidence, kindness, adventure, discovery, outdoors, laughter, experience.
$40/day for one child; $25 for each additional sibling
$25/day for two or more consecutive days

Show and Tell from 11 a.m. to noon. Free and Open to the Public
Our very own Shauna Cummings will share a snow/Mt. Abram related show and tell and then open the floor to our little visitors and their families to show and tell about their own towns, favorite things, or special family stories. Shauna’ s show and tell will be a secret each week as she shares fun stories about the mountain and its history, invites guests from our staff to talk about their jobs, and introduces a love of spending winter outdoors to our little ones. Families welcome!
