TODAY is the childhood our kids will remember. Mt. Abram Childcare Center supports your family’s memory-making at the mountain by providing indoor and outdoor adventures throughout the day for your children ages 6 weeks through 12 years.

Our childcare center is inspired by a Safe! Smart! Strong! philosophy that focuses on stimulating the whole child – his senses,  intellect,  heart and body,  in a nurturing, home-like environment, which also welcomes family.  Our site, our program and our staff are licensed by the State of Maine for health and safety and….best of all, right outside our door, we’ve got a Mountain Playground like no other!

We believe in:

  • Hiring and training experienced, happy, snow-loving, kid and parent-pleasing staff
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Age appropriate ski programs and indoor learning toys, games and activities
  • Fresh food choices
  • An open-door policy for families including a nursing area
  • Sweet sleep, lots of loving, and food on demand for babies
  • a balanced schedule of peace, ruckus and meals/snacks for older kids

Words to live by: rhythm, connectedness, creativity, goodness, togetherness, cooperation, confidence, kindness, adventure, discovery, outdoors, laughter, experience.

Families welcome!
