Baxter Outdoors Mt Abram Ascent to be held Saturday, September 6
Craft Fair, Live Music, Food, Beer and Season Pass Specials
GREENWOOD, ME- August 19, 2014. The first annual Baxter Outdoors Mt Abram Ascent will take place next month at the ski area. The 4 mile race will take runners up and over the summit, affording dramatic views of the Mahoosuc Range and White Mountains. Beginning at 10 am, the off-road course will gain over 1,000 feet of elevation over ski trails and single track.
After the race, beginning at noon, there will be live blues music with Black Cat Road, a local craft and artisan fair as well as beer and food specials. Mt Abram will be offering a one day season pass sale, offering early bird prices. “We want to give our customers one more opportunity to lock in our lowest prices,” said Dave Scanlan, Mt Abram’s General Manager. “Building off last season’s success and with our major snowmaking upgrade being completed this fall, next season is shaping up to be fantastic.”
